Larry and Becky Ramsey
Larry and Becky Ramsey live SE of Pryor and keep busy running a cow-calf operation on about 1400 acres. Now both retired – Larry/county commissioner and Becky/teacher – they have long been interested in horses and cattle. Many years have been spent helping with Mayes County Fair, Mayes County Horse Show, 4-Way Rodeo Association, Ranch rodeos, 9 Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, Mayes County Cattlemen’s Association, and many other events.
Larry has served on several boards – presently on Mayes County Fairboard, NE District Director for Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, 4Way Rodeo Association officer, Mayes County Cattlemen’s Association – President 9 years, now Vice President, & several committees while County Commissioner. Together they were selected ‘Mayes County Cattlemen 2005’. Larry was chosen ‘Mayes County 2016 Favorite, Living, Working Cowboy’ Award by Pryor Daily Times newspaper. Becky has served as President of 4-Way Rodeo for the last several years.
